1.     Branch Manager – Grade B

Essential Function

  • Remains primarily responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the Branch,
  • Engages in all operational activities of the branch as required by the volume and intensity of the work,
  • Ensures the success and best achievement of the Branch in providing excelling customer services,
  • Aggressively engages in marketing and promotional activities,
  • Cascades the corporate plan of the Bank to the staffs of the Branch and follows up the implementation,
  • Prepares annual action plan of the branch and manages all resources availed to accomplish and meet the goal,
  • Lesions and coordinates with local government and development agencies in resolving issues related to the branch.
  • Coordinate the branch’s operation and Mobilize the capital of the branch,
  • Lead the overall branch’s operation and prepare branch business plan in conjunction with the respected department,
  • Ensure the proper implementation of policies and procedure throughout the branch,
  • Prepare & submit periodic performance report of the branch.

Job Requirement

MA/MBA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management and any other related fields with 7.5 years of experience  or BA in the same fields with 9.5 years of experience in banking industry, of which 1 years in branch management position or 1 year on Branch Manager Grade C and/or CSM on grade A branch.

2.     Manager, Human Resource Management Division

Essential Function

  • Plans, directs and controls the activities of the division,
  • Ensures existence of effective HRM policies and procedures,
  • Undertakes succession planning through leadership competency framework and leadership program,
  • Undertakes planned employee engagement related activities,
  • Develops learning organization through properly planned execution of trainings and other learning interventions,
  • Follows up and contributes proper implementation of effective performance management system along with reward,
  • Ensures existence of proper system of labor relation,
  • Ensures existence of proper organizational structure, job description, job grades, and job specifications,
  • Prepares and submits for approval long and short term manpower requirements to the Bank in conformingly to corporate targets,
  • Prepares personnel action requests for recruitment testing, selection, placement, promotion, salary increments and adjustments, employee transfers, terminations and disciplinary matters for approval,
  • Advises and assists other departments on interpretation and administration of personnel policies of the Bank,
  • Ensures the proper implementation of the rules and regulations of the Bank’s employee benefits,
  • Ensures paper organizing and maintaining of personnel files and records,
  • Put in place efficient reporting mechanisms within the department,
  • Ensures timely periodic reports of the department are issued to the appropriate organs of the Bank, and
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirement

MBA/MA in Human Resources management, Management, Business Administration, Leadership, or other related fields with 9.5 years of experience; or BA in the same fields with 7.5 years of experience in banking industry, of which at least 2 year as a relevant officer position.

3.     Branch Cash Administrator Grade B

Essential Function

  • Weigh, wrap, pack Birr and remove tags and special security tabs.
  • Help prominent customers in cash counting.
  • Work out totals for cash at the end of each working day.
  • Count and prepare money for deposit in the branch or other Bank.
  • Disburse cash to designated Bank clerks.
  • Collect surplus cash from Bank clerks.
  • Keep records of amounts received and paid and regularly check the cash balance
  • Operate automatic ticket-issuing machines and other computerized equipment.
  • Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

BA in Accounting, Accounting & finance, Banking & Insurance, Banking & finance, Business Administration, Management, or other related fields with 3.5 years of experience; or Diploma/10+3/Level III and above/ in the same fields with 5 years of experience in branch operations in banking industry, of which at least 1 year as Cashier or Senior Customer Service Officer.

Place of Work: Jigjiga, Debre Birhan and Adama
