Rework Inc is currently recruiting an Operations Manager focusing on Glue Manufacturing for one of its clients. 

Overview of the Job function
The Operations Manager has full responsibility to oversee the manufacturing operations,
people management and overall business performance of the plant. The Operations Manager
will provide strategic leadership towards the growth of the manufacturing plant.


Tasks & Responsibilities
• Responsible for production planning, perform standard laboratory tests, production
control management and quality control
• Responsible for manufacturing budgets, prepare annual manufacturing budgets and
forecasts and all capital expenditure and proposals and implementing the decisions
• Responsible for achieving budget and forecast set by management
• Support the analysis of Customer SLA’s, recommend improvements, and ensure
efficiencies
• Oversee glue manufacturing ensuring, the highest standards of manufacturing are
achieved
• Carry out quality checks and documentation of raw material, production process and
finished products (archiving)
• Provide motivation, support, and guidance to the manufacturing team
• Manage contractors on-site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements
• Ensure continuous operation, reducing time and delay by inter-department
communication on sales forecast, production inputs inventory, and logistics
• Manage customer quality issues and claims
• Ensure strict and efficient raw material planning and stock management processes

• Implement a structured and consistent maintenance program

• Support technical and project team with customer-related reclamation issues
Qualification and experiences
• Technical degree or diploma (technical college, university, masters), or well-founded knowledge of engineering and operations management
• Minimum of 4 years’ operations management experience and intensive
professional knowledge of the industry sector.
• Experience in doing lab trials
• Knowledge of Krones portfolio (preferable)
• Talent and organization management

• Excellent understanding of financial processes and procedures
