The African Child Policy Forum (ACPF) is a leading, independent Pan-African centre of policy research and dialogue on the African child. It aims to provide a platform for dialogue; contribute to improved knowledge of the problems facing children in Africa; identify policy options; and strengthen the capacity of governments and CSOs to develop and implement effective pro-child policies and programmes.
ACPF is recruiting an Executive Assistant to enable the Executive Director to effectively support the various departments and functions of the organisation. The overall responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to provide support to the functions and operations of the Executive Director, the Director of Programmes and the Director of Operations and Business Development.
The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in organisaitonal administration, development work, preferably with an international organisation. She/he should have solid record of office administration and management experience. An undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Management, Social Sciences, International Development or related field is mandatory. The candidate must have a high degree of personal initiative, excellent communication skills and strong computer skills. High proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
