Industrial Sales Manager

  • Responsible for roofing and accessories business from the professional (technical) market which comprises developers, construction companies, contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, quantity surveyors, etc.
  • Tracking all projects and major constructions and following up in a phased manner to capture the requirements early for effective raw material planning.
  • Managing existing customers of the company and ensure 100% share of business from them and developing new clients in the segment.
  • Closely working with the architects, consultants and other professional influencers and decision makers. Meeting them on regular basis promoting the company and its products.
  • Actively coordinating with the respective associations in the target segment and participating in their events.
  • Handling government and related tenders. Approaching them with market intelligence and proper planning.
  • Providing pre sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services.
  • Managing the industrial sales team and meeting regular sales targets.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
  • Demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
  • liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
  • Lead the solution selling team by working with the design team
  • Develop business plan and opportunities including new market development. Develop export market in East Africa.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management from time to time

Qualifications:

  • MBA/MA/MS/B.Tech/BE from a recognized University in Business Management, Marketing, or Engineering fields with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Should have handled minimum team of 5
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, organize, implement, evaluate, and monitor activities
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and pay attention to meet deadlines
  • Strategic and innovative thinking and ability to work independently
  • Honesty, integrity and consistent leadership quality

Experience of working in CRM or ERP environment would be an added advantage
