Position: Semi-senior Auditor
Number required: Ten
Qualifications and experience:
  • BA degree in accounting and finance
  • Demonstrable experience in accounting and related fields of three years of which at least one year at a senior level
  • Familiarity in using different accounting soft wares and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skill
  • Experience in report preparation and communication thereon is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing engagements, ensuring compliance with client and other statutory requirements
  • Participate in the budgeting, planning, co-ordination and control of engagements in accordance with client and other statutory and business requirements to ensure effective service delivery and maximized recoverability
  • Direct, coach and mentor audit trainees to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements and the direction of their subordinates ensuring cost effective, timely completion and effective service delivery to the required standard on each engagement.
  • Assist senior auditors in preparing the audit plan for clients considering the audit risk and in accordance with the risk assessment and arrange and plan meeting for discussion with audit team
  • Ensure the audit is progressing as per the time budget and ensure timely completion of audits
  • Ensure adherence to audit plan and involve to oversee the work of assistants and audit trainees
  • Create worthwhile relationships with clients, business departments and staff, for the sharing of information and
  • Assist senior auditors in monitoring the effectiveness of audit services delivered
