Job Summery:

The Finance and Administration Officer  is responsible for operation controls in finance and administration. The Finance and Admin Officer is responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization’s operational systems, ensures that organizational processes are efficient and effective and guarantees proper management of overall finance and administration matters.

Qualification & Experience:-

  • BA Degree in Accounting and Finance and Business Management
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Hospitality and Business industry as a Finance and Administration Officer
  • Experience in rentals and tour operations industry a plus
  • Fluent in Amharic and English, written as well as spoken

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Lead in bank loan application and relevant financial planning
  • Budget creation and monitoring in cooperation with the Management and other team members
  • Preparation and coordination of financial monthly, quarterly closings and reports with external controller
  • Preparing a monthly Financial report for sharing with the Management and Shareholders
  • Lead on interactions with banks and other lenders or investors
  • Coordination of annual financial statements
  • Coordinating the external financial audit
  • Quality control purchase requests, invoices and reimbursements
  • Overseeing all payments and doing daily payments
  • Supervise payroll and taxes

Administration:

  • Assist in company set up in early stages with other Management
  • Human Resource Management including leading search for other key roles in company
  • Overall responsibility for logistical and operational processes including
  • Internal procedures and compliance
  • Legal and insurance obligations
  • Occupational health and safety of staff
  • Leading policy development and documentation of above
  • Other office management functions
  • Staff management

Location: Addis Ababa 

Career Level: Mid Level ( 2+ - 5 years experience)
