CORDAID Ethiopia Country office is looking Logistics/ Administration Officer
Objective of the position: Logistics/Facilities and System Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all Logistics, IT Support, Duty of Care and procurement activities for Cordaid Ethiopia are done in accordance with the required standards and procedures.

Contract Duration: Until December 31st, 2018 with possibility of extension
Location: Addis Ababa
Is responsible to: Administrator/Finance Manager
Result areas;
Logistics & Administration
  • Manage visa application process and travel arrangements
  • Responsible for project procurement in accordance with the respective procedures & guidelines;
  • Maintain & ensure all travel, logistics & procurement documentation is complete and updated
  • Manage drivers and facilities
  • Coordinate staff/vehicle movement
  • Manage the maintenance vehicle fleet, records, insurance.
  • Analyse, update and make necessary recommendations on logbooks, fleet register/files such as mileage record, fuel receipts, servicing, insurance, registration, repairs, accidents, other incidents, etc.
Assets Management & the Office
  • Follow-up, oversee & manage asset movement, monitor and update the records & inventory accordingly.
  • Monitor & ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office and equipment. Ensure maintenance and proper functioning of the Cordaid office and office equipment
  • Management of the office facilities
  • In coordination with external IT consultant
  • Ensure the proper functioning of all computers, internet and all other IT equipment
  • Follow up with the departments on compilation of information on Ethiopia for the global Cordaid Newsletter/magazine under the Country Director’s guidance, Maintain Cordaid Ethiopia website
Areas of expertise and competency
  • Degree Level in Logistics management Business Administration
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar position
  • Proven experience in fleet management;
  • IT knowledge and proficiency in Micro-Soft Office packages;
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of procurement guidelines of donors,
  • Valid driving license
  • Good command of written and spoken English Language
  • Experience of working in similar position with NGOs
