Logistics conditions: 1 round trip, lodging at VIS expatriate staff house

Objectives:

The ADM will have the following functions:

  • Guarantee the correct, transparent and effective administrative/financial management of VIS interventions in Palestine;

  • Guarantee the efficient management of the Office from an administrative and logistic point of view and of the administrative management of the expatriate and local human resources.

    Activities to be implemented:

  • Contribute to the operation and financial planning of the country based on the indications received and of the programmes already implemented/planned;

  • Elaboration of project financial plans, collection of eventual quotations for purchases and in loco valorisations;

  • Preparation of administrative documentation and information upon approval of in loco interventions;

  • Definition and elaboration of the financial plan for each intervention and country financial plan;

  • Contribution to the formulation of the sending requests;

  • Management of in loco expatriate staff expenditures charge according to budget lines;

  • Supervision of management of local staff contracts, pay slips, payments, etc.;

  • Update and control of PN loco through the peripheral management, transmission of bank account balances and cash balances, reconciliation;

  • Periodical transmission of PN loco and accounting-administrative documentation;

  • Preparation and carrying out procedures foreseen for purchases and works (quotations, tenders, commitment, etc.);

  • Elaboration and preparation of intermediate and final financial reports. In case of in loco donors, management of the reports with auditor, presentation of financial report and transmission of integrations and changes requested by the donor.

    Requirements

  • Degree in economic sciences or similar

  • Good knowledge of English and Italian languages

  • Knowledge of EU and Italian Foreign Ministry procedures

  • Knowledge of Windows, good knowledge of Office tools, especially Excel, and knowledge of project financial management procedures

  • Experience of at least 3 years as administrative manage in developing countries

  • Experience in Etiopia

  • Supervision and overall understanding of economic-financial aspects capacity;

  • Coordination and supervision of local staff in line with the legal requirements of the hosting country capacity;

  • Capacity of training local staff through learning-by-doing (training on the job);

  • High diplomatic and sharing capacities with the religious counterparts;

  • Reliability and scrupolosity

  • Management of unexpected occurrences and aptitude to problem solving

    Preferential requirements:**

  • Post-graduate specialization in development co-operation

  • Experience as financial manager in projects co-funded by the Italian Foreign Ministry and/or EU

  • Experience in human resources training

  • Complete sharing of the Salesian missionary spirit and capacity of collaborating with the religious counterparts

Top Accountabilities


Active Selling

  • Create orders and build order sales value via active selling
  • Responsible for generating sales orders in each of the designated accounts to meet daily targets and ensure all taken orders are delivered in full and as per communicated service / delivery days / times..
  • Each designated account will have a daily/monthly/annual targets by brand and category
  • Work with designated key distributors / van salesperson Driver to ensure that service frequency is adhered to and any changes are agreed and communicated to the customer in advance at least 2 weeks prior to effecting the change
  • Consistently deliver the monthly/quarterly and yearly depletion targets

 Account Targeting

  • Each designated account will have a daily/monthly/annual targets set by brand and category.
  • Daily targets for planned calls by brands/category per each outlet to be called on that particular day and the same is discussed and agreed on a weekly basis but reviewed on daily basis with the Line Manager.
  • Responsible to penetrate new accounts and market areas
  • Responsible to protect exclusive houses
  • SKUs should be available in respective accounts as per the new outlet segmentation

Account Management & Activation
 

  • Responsible and accountable for all aspects of account management and activation in each of the designated accounts.
  • Activate execution standards in priority accounts identified in RtC design.
  • Activation of QDVPPP standards to meet the desired target/standards.
  • Responsible to have the full territory profile of the market and updated on monthly base
  • Fully engaged and take accountability on timely completion (100%) of all promotional activities and submission of documents
  • Protect Company’s POSM, strictly follow Company’s assets movements, prepare on time asset transfer and ensure quarterly physical inventory/count
  • Ensure Good Inventory management is in place at outlet level (FIFO)

 Qualification and Experience Requirement
 

  • University / College Degree with at least 2 years’ sales or marketing experience in FMCG.
  • Computer literate and ability to work under pressure and respond to tight deadlines.
  • Team player
  • Strong communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the selling process.
  • Fluent in Amharic and a strong command of written and spoken English
  • Valid driving license.

Education (Minimum): BA or College Diploma in Accounting/ Management/ Economics/related fields

- Experience: 2 years or 4 years of relevant banking experience

 

Job Title: Branch Accountant 

- Number Required: 2 (Two)
- Place of Work: Addis Ababa
- Salary: Attractive & Per Bank’s Scale

Education (Minimum): BA or College Diploma in Accounting/ Banking/ Management 
- Experience: 2 years or 4 years of relevant banking experience

 

Job Title: Branch Manager I

- Number Required: 2 (Two)
- Place of Work: Addis Ababa
- Salary: Attractive & Per Bank’s Scale

 Education (Minimum): BA in Accounting/ Banking/ Management or related field
- Experience: 6 years of banking experience; 2 of which in senior positions
