Corbetti Geothermal PLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Corbetti Holdco (a company registered in Mauritius), holds a Mineral Exploration License and is currently working on geothermal power exploration and development in the Oromia and SNNPRS regions.

Job Description
The Social Performance Manager will be based in Addis Ababa (with frequent travel to the Corbetti Geothermal project site located near Hawassa) and provide functional social performance leadership and oversee the assessment and management of social impacts and investment activities associated with the exploration, appraisal and potential development of the geothermal energy project. The remit of this role includes delivery of an ambitious social performance program, land access & acquisition, social impact management and community engagement. The detailed responsibilities will include:

Social Performance/Impact Management
Based on IFC's social management system implementation hand book, national and other international social performance requirements develop all the necessary documents to integrate social concerns into the day to day activities of the company
Provide inputs into the development of the Environmental & Social Performance Management System (accounting for existing operations and future development).
Manage the acquisition of socio-economic baseline data and ensure the findings are fully integrated into relevant business planning activities.
In close cooperation with the EHS departments, manage social, socio economic and human rights impact assessment (stand alone and as integrated within the EIA process) and associated action planning and execution.
Ensure that the appropriate management plans are in place and executed in accordance with the requirements of the ESIA.
Oversee the development and execution of a robust land access & acquisition framework to support operations in accessing land and providing compensation to impacted communities in a timely and appropriate fashion and in accordance with IFC standards.
Support other company initiatives (environmental awareness, local content etc.) which contribute to social performance management as requested.
Ensure sub-contractors follow company social performance standards to avoid, minimize, or mitigate all project related negative social impacts.
Develop social monitory and evaluation metrics to evaluate internal operations and Contractor's operations and conduct social performance M&E.

Community Engagement & Consultation
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the operational areas including (but not limited to) local community, regulators, local authorities, NGOs/CSOs, religious institutions and cultural bodies etc.  
Ensure the field base Social Performance team are executing the agreed community engagement programmes.
Develop, manage and execute a long term community consultation, and disclosure programme (including grievance management) in support of business requirements.
Represent company at key engagements which require social input/knowledge.  
Oversee the development of a robust social investment programme (combining short and long term initiatives, nationally and locally).
Responsible for internal and external stakeholder engagement at the community level, regional level, and federal level
Responsible for community development planning, implementation and managing implementation partners
In partnership with the (Community Liaison Officer) CLO, ensure grievance mechanisms are appropriately implemented 

General Management
Deploy social performance human resources according to business requirements and provide input into business planning processes/decisions as required (accounting for operational impacts and stakeholder impacts on the business objectives).
Contribute to risk assessments and management planning as required.
Participate and contribute to Social Performance audits/reviews (either internal or external).
Engage and manage specialist consultants as required.
Manage the annual budget cycle, forecasting and key Social Investment Contracts.

To recruit a technical assistance who will be responsible for supporting the transition of the current the Water Sector Working Group- Secretariat (WSWG-S) into a new strategic plan and structure.   
  
Objective
 
The general objective of the WSWG is to provide a forum for Government and Donors to jointly promote, support and coordinate sustainable and integrated development and management of water resources for socio-economic development of Ethiopia in line with the GTP and its follow-up on development plans.
 
Specific Objectives of the WSWG
 
  1. To function as a knowledge hub for the entire water, sanitation and hygiene  sector in collecting and disseminating information on reports, missions, general publications, reviews, and assessments, etc.
  2. To organise a forum for regular experience sharing, information exchange and mutually review implementation status of projects and programs on the basis of GTP objectives and targets, and address challenges.
  3. To jointly discuss, develop, review and propose the policies and strategies agenda for the relevant (sub) sectors.
  4. To suggest strategies and actions required to mainstream sustainable and integrated water resources management in sectoral development agendas and plans.
  5. To discuss and develop shared solutions and actions to address key implementation issues that may arise around the sustainable, effective and efficient use of Ethiopia’s water resources.
  6. To discuss and follow-up the issues of awareness creation, initiatives and coordination and suggest sector wide approach.
  7. To ensure formal links between the water sector and other relevant sectors in particular agriculture, health, environment, education, energy and finance.

Purposes of the WSWG

 
The WSWG has the following specific purposes:
  1. Financing: reach consensus on how the Government and Donors can jointly deliver finance to best meet the needs increased capacity (for capacity building) to plan and implement the water-related development plans of the GTP;
  2. Strategy and Planning: provide a forum to discuss and develop strategies, coordinate planning and implementation of water-related development, and consult on key sector-wide strategy and planning issues (e.g. Water Sector Development Program review and update; next GTP planning; revised Universal Access Program strategy; etc);
  3. Monitoring: provide a forum to mutually review implementation status on the basis of GTP objectives and targets, and address challenges;
  4. Coordination, Harmonization and Alignment: reinforce the Paris Declaration agenda through coordinated dialogue and as a means to identify how practically to improve harmonization and alignment in the sector, with special reference to sector wide approaches;
  5. Information sharing: provide a forum for both Government and Donors to share information on their ongoing and planned initiatives as a means to improve coordination in the sector.
 
For this it is necessary not only for several sectors to participate in the WSWG work, but also to ensure institutionalized linkages to other relevant sector working groups, including those not formally under WSWG. Such groups would include, but not necessarily be limited to: RED&FS, Climate Change and Energy.

Tasks of the WSWG

 
The WSWG has the following main tasks
  1. Review of current sector financing requirements for achievement of GTP objectives, and development of strategies to address these needs;
  2. Identify key sector issues to be addressed;
  3. Formulate, facilitate and follow up a practical action plan for the successful implementation of the One WASH National Programme (OWNP), a sector-wide approach, in the WASH sector, in light of the national WASH inventory and major donor project cycles;
  4. Initiate a similar strategy like that of the WASH sub-sector for a move towards a sector wide approach for the broad Water Resources Management (WRM) , irrigation, hydropower.etc and others to be defined on the basis of further preliminary consultations.
  5. Liaise and work with similar working groups in other sectors;
 

Supervision, Reporting and Monitoring Lines

  • The staff will be operationally engaged by the MOWIE, under the direct supervision of the Director of the Water Supply and Sanitation Directorate.
  • The staff will be located in the WSWG-Secretariat office at MOWIE.
  • The staff will operationally report to MOWIE, and techniocally to MOWIE and CLIENT. She/he will submit technical reports to on a monthly basis based upon an agreed government format;
  • With his/her MOWIE supervisors, the staff member will develop a work plan as per the JD for the period of the assignment.

Job Purpose: - Maximize ECX’s network services uptime through maintenance of corporate’s server infrastructure. Provide Tier III support to resolve system administration related tasks.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the  ECX Trading Servers are  properly functioning, secured and Highly available;
  • Ensure the ECX Clearing and settlement servers are properly functioning ,secured and highly available;
  • Ensure the ECX’s Corporate messaging system is functioning, optimized ,highly available and secured;
  • Ensure ECX’s corporate files on Server infrastructure are accessed properly, optimized ,highly available and secured;
  • Ensure the ECX’s primary data center server infrastructure  is properly working, optimized ,Highly available and secured;
  • Ensure the ECX’s Disaster Recovery Site server infrastructure  is properly working, optimized ,Highly available and secured;
  • Ensure the backup of all Critical systems, files and folders of the Exchange;.
  • Ensure all ECX’s externally accessed resources, such as Trading portal, Email and others  are secured and functioning properly through Managed Gateway security products;
  • Ensure that all ECX employee are authenticated and Authorized to access Server resources;
  • Participate on all System Projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor;
  • Ensure all Virtual machines of the Exchange are optimized, secured and highly available;
  • Ensure that the Regional Trading Centers access resources on server infrastructure  residing on  the HQ;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the ECX Server infrastructure at all time on working and non-working hours, locally and remotely;
  • Ensure the health of all ECX’s Server infrastructure devices through local and remote monitoring or through the  Network operation center;
  • Participate in technical bid evaluations for IT procurement;
  • Serve as mentor and coach to Associate System Administrators and Associates;
  •  Assist DBA in  providing proper permissions on servers;
  • Install new, rebuild, repair existing or new servers with collaboration with Sr. SAN and System Administrator;
  • Add and remove users, add and remove server hardware, performs backups, installs new software and troubleshoots;
  • Publish new websites in collaboration with the Application Development team;
  • Remotely administer users’ workstations; administer shared resources such as disks, printers & SharePoint portal servers, user accounts, address books, e-mail accounts, regular backup and restore process;
  • Work with the DBA in backing up, restoring and recovering corrupted corporate databases;
  • Maintain local documentation;
  •  Install new/rebuild/repair existing or new servers;
  • Maintain system configuration and install procedures;
  •  Monitor and ensure availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and logs;
  • Schedule and verify successful completion of jobs such as backups;
  • Create, change and deletes user accounts;
  • Conduct backup of critical business applications and mailbox databases on weekly basis
  •  Provides Tier III support to resolve system administration related tasks;
  • Work as part of a team providing 3rd line support for incidents and requests on IT Infrastructure issues , either directly or indirectly;
  •  Configure, updates and maintain latest OS patches and upgrades;
  • Develop and maintain operational and configuration manuals and procedures;
  • Conduct periodic performance analysis to proactively plan for capacity;

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participates in the development and revision of human resource administration policy, procedure and guideline; actively participate in organizing and coordinating of the overall activities of Human Resources Administration Division;
  • Maintains and updates employee movement records  including new employment, transfer, promotion, suspension or termination, resignation of employee; contract renewal ;update records of deductibles from staff emanating from loans, fines, credit association contributions, absences, court orders; monitors and tracks employee suspension, notice for termination of contract of employment;  maintain timesheet records and reconciles  payroll data accordingly;

 Job Purpose; - Draw and submit representative samples of coffee/grain/pulse/oil seeds, in accordance with ECX sampling standards and procedures.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that all information on the sampling ticket corresponds to the vehicle that is ready for inspection;
  • Checks cargo seal, canvas, cleanness of truck before commencing sampling;
  • Ensures appropriate bag arrangement is prepared for sample taking;
  • Checks number of bags and type (shape and size) conform to ECX standards;
  • Ensures bag label color in the case of coffee matches the declared origin of the coffee;.
  • Visually tests for infestation, cleanliness of bags and report discrepancies under “remarks” on the sampling ticket;
  • Draws representative sample based on the Enterprise standard;
  • Makes segregation if the arrival consignment is heterogeneous in quality, processing and type;
  • Visually inspects uniformity of samples while drawing of sample;
  • Submits samples along with the signed sampling ticket;
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

  • BSc /Diploma/TVET/ in plant science/crop science or related fields.

Position Title: - Quality Operations – Grain Grader

            Duty Station: - Pawe/Metema/Abrahajirra

             Reporting to: - Supervisor, Quality Operations

Job Purpose:--Conduct inspection, analysis, grading and certify incoming commodities as per ECX quality standards.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives and registers incoming samples and duplicates given codes based on information obtained from the data assistant/coder;
  • Measures the moistures content of the sample, and accept or disallow as per the standard set for each commodities;
  • Properly mixes the sample before dividing and proceed to inspection;
  • Divides the sample in to working, reference and client distribution samples;
  • Performs inspection, analysis and sets grade to the sample as per the ECX grading procedures;
  • Prepares accurate grading sheet in three copies and distributes to the appropriate section;
  • Properly places the reference samples and maintains the samples for 20 working days, and gives the client sample with the grade certificate issued;
  • Properly bulks the left over sample in accordance to the standard set for bulking, documents and transfers to the WH as per commodity delivery form;
  • Ensures proper handling and placement of lab materials and equipment;
  • Makes periodic inspection of commodities stored in the WH to give advice or recommendation in order to insure the quality of stored commodities;
  • Responsible and accountable for all grades that come out of his/her laboratory;
  • In case of suspicion on samples, requests re-sampling before the quality assessment is carried out and informs the immediate supervisor;
  • Recommends improvement actions for poor quality;
  • Always maintains the neatness of laboratory and equipment;
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Purpose:-Inspect, analyze, grade and certify ECX quality standards for incoming washed, natural/sundried and local coffee as per ECX quality standards.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs inspection, analysis and sets grade to all coffee samples that come through coding room and submits the results as per the ECX grading procedures;
  • Prepares accurate grading sheet in three copies and distributes to the appropriate section;
  • Ensures proper handling and placement of quality equipment;
  • Prepares and submits report on daily inspection and grading to immediate supervisor;
  • Responsible and accountable for all grading result given by him/her;
  • Ensures all coffee samples are inspected in panel and co-signed by the second cupper participating in the panel;
  • In case of suspicion on samples, requests re-sampling before the quality assessment is carried out and informs the immediate supervisor;
  • Presents report on commonly observed quality problems while conducting inspection;
  • Maintains the neatness of coffee laboratories as well as equipment and avoids any contact with contaminant/artificial odor;

Job Purpose: - Collect, compile, record, and document information. Prepare Goods Receiving Notes and Goods Issue Notes. Compile reports regarding warehouse operations.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects, organizes and verifies accuracy of data before entering to the warehouse application.
  • Collects and checks all source documents required to create valid company documents.
  • Collects, compiles and stores all the necessary data required by the Exchange.
  • Records and prepares arrival of commodities to the ECX, prepares them for Sampling, Coding and Goods Received Notes or Goods Issue Notes.
  • Records and issues voucher and document to clients and to the Lead Inventory Controller/ Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Creates GRN, GIN, generates code and decodes the grading result.
  • Follows the procedures for collection, retrieval and accessing of documents.
  • Records, prints and transmits information regarding received, stored and delivered commodities to concerned bodies.
  • Ensures that database files and applications are secured and protected from loss or damage.
  • Ensures that ECX application files are maintained at the required level of integrity.
  • Monitors the system by closely following up its performance as well as outputs and notifies the Supervisor any system failure.

Job Purpose: - to provide efficient support finance, human and general service and property administration functions at branch level with a view of ensuring the smooth and cost-effective delivery of the site’s operations. She/he delivers required services   in compliance with ECX’s administration, finance and HR strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines as well as that applicable Ethiopian law are regulations.  He/she also liaises and closely works with Head Quarter Finance and HR division.

 DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibility #1:  Financial Administration:

 

  • Liaises with the Head Quarter Finance Division in areas of cash management, procurement and general services;
  • Serves as a custodian of the authorized petty cash of the branch and ensure proper utilization as per the finance manual ;
  • Prepares cash reconciliation spread sheet for the branch and performs reconciliation of same;
  • Ensure that all petty cash payments are properly documented all the time;
  • Makes ready physical cash and related documents for surprise and/or regular audit;
  • Participates in the small items procurement process of the branch as allowed by the Exchange’s procurement procedure;
  • Ensures timely transfer of funds to the warehouse & controls the proper utilization of the same;
  • Ensures collections are properly recorded and deposited to the ECX’s account;
  • Intact follow up of Contract entered for the Warehouse and Office rent.
  • He/she must make follow up and ensure that every request for rent payment is not a duplicate request.
  • Assist in closing accounts related activities such as carrying out annual fixed asset count;
  • Perform all his/her duties and responsibilities in cost effective manner;

 Job Responsibility #2:  Personnel Administration:

  • Supports in posting internal/external announcements at required areas, employee recruitment, induction, performance monitoring, and learning & development management and internship programs and processes;
  • Follow up that human resources related activities of the branch are made in accordance with the ECX’s policies and procedures; personnel policies, rules and regulations kept intact; and reports any disciplinary violations, makes assessments and compiles reports thereto;
  • Support in handling employee grievances, disciplinary issues and other administrative problems according to ECX’s policies and procedures in consultation with the branch head;
  • Ensures that all HR related data, including time sheet, are compiled, updated and sent to HR;  effective and updated employee staff file management is maintained at branch level particularly in relation to Annual Leave and medical refund issues, correspondence, memos, and information and do give appropriate response timely;
  • Handles  employee contract renewal and related HR processes, and ensures that contract of employees is renewed or discontinued timely;
  • Follow ups that staff performance plans, mid-year reviews and annual appraisal are conducted on time for all staff of the  warehouse;

Job Purpose: - Receive and issue commodities as per the ECX warehousing policy and procedures. Ensure stacks are properly maintained and cleanliness is maintained. Keeps updated record regarding the commodities in the warehouse.

 DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive/issue commodities as per ECX receiving & issuing procedures and ensure commodities stored and are preserved properly, he/she is responsible for any weight loss in the warehouse;
  • Load/unload as per the instruction given by the Lead Controller, Warehouse Operations/ Warehouse Supervisor and deliver commodities based on FIFO method by using PUN and DN;
  • Ensure stacks are properly carried out and labeling of commodities is carried out, inspect the warehouse is clean and with no leakage; and visually inspect and verify the grade given by the laboratory;
  • Prepare and submit GRN/GIN approval report; prepare, record and update operational document (deposit ticket, loading ticket, and master cards); prepare labor payment request, sign & submit deposit/loading tickets; prepare & submit the shortfall report on the completion of the stack & produce reports to communicate key critical areas that have shown up;
  • Coordinate & monitor the daily laborers, security guards and cleaners and properly handle the furniture and other office equipment in the warehouse;

Position Title: - Lead Inventory Controller

Job Purpose: - Manage commodities worth more than 50 million at a given time and is responsible for receiving and issuing commodities from the particular warehouse under his/her custody. Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the particular warehouse. Coordinate the work of Inventory Controllers.

 DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the overall management of incoming/ receiving and issuing commodities from the particular warehouse under his/ her custody;
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the particular warehouse;
  • Coordinates the work of Inventory Controllers;
  • Ensures accuracy of documents received and completes the necessary documentation upon receipt of the commodity;
  • Ensures proper movement of commodities into and out of the warehouse and maintains all records accurately and timely;
  • Visually inspects and randomly takes sample while unloading and verifies if the grade given by the laboratory is correct against known grading samples for each deposit;
  • Regularly checks the condition of stored commodities for possible quality deterioration, insect infestation, etc. and recommends immediate remedial measures;
  • Signs and submits the quantity loaded and unloaded using deposit ticket and loading ticket to the Warehouse supervisor;
  • Signs GIN’s and GRN’s confirming the quantity and grade of commodity loaded from / received into the warehouse under his/her supervision;
  • Responsible for any weight loss in the warehouse as determined by the Warehouse Operations Manual;
  • Checks and approves the labor cost requisition on a timely basis and passes it to the Warehouse Supervisor;
  • Ensures that all inventory transactions are properly recorded, documented; and updates the stock records at all times in accordance with the warehouse operations manual;
  • Facilitates complete inventory count as well as cycle counts and report;
  • Maintains a neat, orderly and efficient warehouse;
  • Compiles reports including daily GRN and GIN approval, opening balance, deposit, delivery by classification and grade on a daily basis and submits to the Warehouse Supervisor;
  • Responsible for the overall record and inventory management of the warehouse;
  • Conducts warehouse visual inspection weekly/as required in a particular warehouse under his/ her custody;
  • Handles leftover/ reference samples as assigned by the Warehouse Operation Supervisor according to their grades;
  • Clearly and unequivocally instructs the day laborers concerning the designated place for loading and unloading operations;
  • Assigns similar types and grades to specific warehouses to ensure better space utilization and logistics efficiencies;
  • Checks there are no double submissions of DN and validates that the GRN related to the PUN was initially deposited in his/her warehouse before instructing the commencement of loading the vehicle;
  • Approves delivery tickets and loading tickets prepared by IC;
  • Sends the undelivered and expired  PUN/DN paper copies back to WHO Supervisor for report to HO each working day;
  • Always checks and ensures the manual ground scale in the warehouse is working properly and reports immediately in case it malfunctions;

 Position Title: - Operations Controller

Job Purpose:-Verify that the receiving and delivery of commodities are carried out as per the Exchange’s rule and regulation and essential procedures. Make sure that Goods Receiving Notes and Goods Issuance Notes are properly prepared.  Reconciles the physical inventory balance of warehouses against the inventory records and is custodian of all Goods Receiving Notes /GRN and Goods Issuance Notes /GIN documents. 

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Confirms that the overall activities of a branch he/ she assigned is performed in compliance with the set operation policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for collecting and organizing of all receiving and delivering documents of commodities from all LIC/IC and WHO Supervisor of a particular branch;
  • Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the documents received and ensure the details are in compliance with the operation Manual;
  • Files GRN and GIN separately by the name of each LIC/IC, commodity grade and GRN numerical sequence;
  • Check the accurateness of received documents compared to the IT system;
  • Maintain inventory stock register, follow and monitor the balances in each shed;
  • Ensure continuous checking and monitoring of stack balances, end of stack and end of grade reports;
  • Verify and report any discrepancies between physical existence of commodities and reports received from LICs/ICs to the Head of Branch Operations and to Audit Unit at HO;
  • Randomly check trucks loaded and ready for dispatch after any addition or deduction is completed, all the necessary documentation including GIN are prepared, and ready to be released;
  • Conduct a monthly physical count in terms of bags and estimated weight; and document and report the regular physical count to the head of branch operations;
  • Conducts biweekly warehouse visual inspection and submit the inspection report to head of branch operations;
  • Make an up to date inventory reconciliation by each LIC, Grade and production year;
  • Maintain the daily inventory balance;
  • Conduct weakly physical count;
  • Ensures that all inventory transactions are properly recorded, documented; and updates the stock records at all times in accordance with the warehouse operations manual by LICs/ICs;
  • Compiles reports including daily GRN and GIN approval, opening balance, deposit, delivery by classification and grade on a daily basis and submits to the Warehouse Supervisor;
  • Displays the highest ethical and professional behavior towards the customers/ clients getting services associated with the Exchange at specific warehouse;
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Purpose:-Ensure smooth and transparent relationship of the Exchange with members, clients and external stakeholders at the designated warehouse location.  Act as a focal person to resolve members’ and clients’ requests, questions and complaints at the designated warehouse.

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as a focal person to resolve members’ and clients’ requests, questions and complaints;
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with relevant entities, government bodies/offices;
  • Ensures smooth relationship with committee members;
  • Attends regional committee members meeting;
  • Compiles and reports on primary market and any market related  information;
  • Logs and processes or follows up members’/clients’ complaints/ requests;
  • Files and retrieves documents related to MCR, records and reports;
  • Arranges visits for guests coming to the warehouse and organizes meetings arranged by the Head Office;
  • Generates summary report on service provided to and behalf of members and clients;
  • Performs other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.

 

Job Requirements

  • BA or MA in Management, Marketing or related Business fields.
  • B.A. & 4 years of experience OR M.A. & 2 years of experience customer handling, coordination,      administration and communication.

Required Skill:

  • Knowledge of ECX operation, commodities and services.

Position Title: - Supervisor, Warehouse Operations

Job Purpose:-Responsible for the overall management of warehouses under his/her Supervision and its staff. Ensure that warehousing activities are carried out as per the ECX Rule and Warehouse Operations guideline.

 DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the overall activities of the warehouses are planned, coordinated and implemented in accordance with  rule & regulation and warehouse operations procedures and guideline;
  • Follows the ECX rule & regulation and warehouse operations procedures and guideline to direct the proper receipt, sampling, weighing and certification of commodities delivered to the warehouse or from the warehouse;
  • Ensure all warehouse staff is performing their assigned tasks as per the SLA and warehouse operation manual;
  • Ensures that each arrival or pickup truck for deposit/delivery is provided service as per its order/queue;
  • Coordinates all loading and unloading activities are undertaken on a timely basis as per the SLA and the warehouse operations manual;
  • Conducts warehouse visual inspection weekly/as required in a particular warehouse under his/ her supervision;
  • Monitors shortfalls/ excess inventory balances at the end of each stack completion and provides report to the Manager;
  • Approves GRN, GIN and PSA Note as per documents provided by the Lead Inventory Controller;
  • Oversees the compiling, maintaining and transition of daily inventory position records;
  • Monitors each warehouse / shed stock positions and makes random and surprise inventory check and reports any discrepancies immediately;
  • Ensures the security of all property, office equipment and supplies of the warehouse site;
  • Ensures the optimal and proper utilization of warehouse storage spaces;
  • Registers for evidence any wrongdoing on the part of personnel and members and timely reports to the Compliance Division and the immediate supervisor;
  • Liaises with representatives of day laborers on regularly during each month concerning changes in warehouse labor requirements;
  • Coordinates between the Exchange and other external parties when instructed by the Head Office;
  • Compiles the daily laborers’ and weighbridge service payment information using supporting documents of GRN & GIN and transmits the payment information to the Head Office on a regular basis;
  • Ensures the accuracy of weighbridges/ground scales on regular basis and immediately reports any malfunction/ discrepancy on these equipment;
  • Manages petty cash as per the Finance & Administration regulation of the company;
  • Manages, coordinates and leads all Warehouse Operations staff towards the EASWSE objectives/goals;
  • Reports monthly regular employees’ timesheet and approved leave requests to HR Division and to the Warehouse Operation Unit;
  • Monitors that each employee with access to warehouse IT system is only using his/her access privilege and not using another employee’s access. Reports any password sharing activities;
  • Monitors outsourced employees are performing their tasks as per contract agreement with the Managing Agency, and authenticates timesheets for payment;
  • Ensures that all the Exchange’s properties and vehicles under his/her supervision are used in ethical and efficient way;
  • Cooperates with Regional Coordinators to facilitate delivery of efficient warehouse operations services;

 

Job Requirements

  • MBA/BA in Supplies Management, Logistics Management, Economics, Business Management, Agribusiness Management or related field and 2/4 related years of experience.

Required Skill: Demonstrates attention to detail; Displays ability to manage emotions; Demonstrates ability to motivate others and is resourceful; Demonstrates good time management skill; Demonstrates ability to be resourceful; Demonstrates negotiation skill;
